Please note that I am referring to my maker not yours or of anyone else :P If I am white, it would be hard for me seeing a black couple as my parents and vice versa. Similarly, I can't believe that the essence of my maker could be different from the essence of my being as I described it right after...

The point of my post #22 is that as long a person obeys the rules which are usually created or approved by some members of the high class in his community/society and supervised by legitimate servants, it doesn't matter if he believes that a god exists or not. ... Does not matter in the great schem...

I agree Bill the USA is moving albeit slowly towards a less religious society. But it appears to be a believing society a comparison of 2007 and 2014 data And the 2016 Gallup poll shows belief at just short of 80 % The strength of people's belief seems to be declining for sure. http://news.gallup.co...

Kerim I would argue that a rational scientific person would start saying "I don't know" a bit more often. To me your "scientific rationality" has what is known as the informal fallacy of An Argument from Incredulity The word "know" has different shades but it does imply...
