'Viva La Vida' sung by Puddles Pity Party

'Viva La Vida' is a song by Coldplay in 2008 that topped the charts in many countries.

Here is a version by one of my favorite singers 'Puddles the Clown'.

The song has many bible references and seems to be about someone that ruled much or was at least at the top of his game for a while, but eventually dropped, and admitted in the song that "Saint Peter won't call my name" (probaby referring to the belief that Saint Peter stands at a gate of Heaven with a list of who can enter and who can't).

Even though I enjoy this singer I don't know if I'll load the song onto the 'USB' stick that I play in my car. The song doesn't thrill that much, although the video amuses me.

the divine isn't a living entity, it is the living force within all of us.

I always thought that the song was about Louis XVI. I could be wrong. I guess only the members of Coldplay know for sure.

I had not heard of the Louis XVI connection before now, but on listening to the piece again, it is a very plausible theory.
The only reality is the moment that we call "Now".
