I have a hard time answering this one, because I like several different genres of music, but some how I always end up listening to techno and industrial the most. Maybe I'm trying to relive my youth. ;)

Rock, heavy guitar. But also I'm like Kerri, I like all kinds, depends on my mood at the time.

I listen to a few different genres, but it's mostly industrial and techno for me as well. NIN, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, Combichrist, Velvet Acid Christ, etc. Definitely my style of music.

I also listen to a lot of underground rap, such as Chino XL, Crooked I, Canibus, Ras Kass, etc. Basically the type of rap that's actually "lyrical".

There's also the hard grungy rock such as Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Filter, Soundgarden, Lacuna Coil, Tool, A Perfect Circle, etc. Pretty much all of the bands from the 90's, the era which I grew up in.

Some trance and drum & bass is cool also. Paul Oakenfold, Dieselboy, Astral Projection, etc.

The type of music I listen to really depends on my mood at the time.

Born in Motown in 1950, I like stuff with rythym, although I have a few favorite songs from every genre of music, from yoga type music with sitars to 'big band' music with Louis Armstrong (I like some big band music because it gives me a break from the electric guitars for a while). Recently, I bought a 'Axiom of Choice' CD, its a crossover of Persia style music and tech or electro.
We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine, Gil.
P.S. The last concert I went to was in the 1970's, Alice Cooper.

Funny, when I first heard yellow submarine I thought it was "jealous of Marie."

My last concert was last year...Trans Siberian Orchestra. Great show!

Thanks Carol! :D
I didn't count the last time I heard live music. I wasn't sure it would qualify as a "concert". Last year I saw Micheal Powers at Terra Blues (NYC). He is an amazing blues musician. :) I have heard a few lesser know bands since 1997. :)
