40 years since first hearing Darkside is amazing. It doesn't seem that long because I can still imagine the couch's, apartments, speakers (unlike this laptop), and few tokes that accompanied the music. Evidently, it wasn't the tokes that made the music sound so good.

A Burmese monk that opened a meditation monastery here in Nevada had his 66th birthday last Sunday. I (63 yrs old earlier this month) told him we got to live during an interesting period, and he smiled and nodded.

Still nice to look at the moon, Gil.

Here is another view of the moon as seen from Mali. Loved their "Heart of the Moon" album.

You can call me Mark or whatever.

LOVE this album, and still listen to this song often while driving by myself. LIke you, I can still vividly remember the ambiance when I first heard the song (without the tokes - I was a "good" girl ;) )
It was 1976 and I was 17 (Going to be 54 this year)

Sort of neat:

"A piece of music I made using some of the various sounds Windows XP and 98 come with.
The music is about 1:31 long. After that, I show the sounds which were used."

There is at least one other similar piece that comes immediately after this one
